Our Approach
Our time tested process is based on the philosophy to structure any service delivery around the specific requirements of each of our clients. Given this and the implicit understanding that no two assignments are identical, we design our approach for each assignment on an individualised basis.
Success in our business requires dedication, tenacity, patience, resourcefulness and care - and an ability to discern what is in the best interests of both our clients and our candidates.
With the view of achieving the best results, a Project Team is structured for each search and a Project Plan is built around the brief received from our client. The project team consist of at least 3 members, a Director / Consultant, a Researcher and an Administrator.
The frequency of feedback on progress and who the feedback will be addressed to, will be agreed but we normally give brief progress reports on a weekly basis, until the shortlist is presented.

To achieve this outcome, we offer a full search service by following our BIG FIVE-pronged approach, as follows:
- Firstly, we ensure that we fully understand the client requirements by taking a brief that includes all relevant aspects of the company, environment, ideal person profile, job description, etc.
- Then, through dedicated research, we map the universe by scoping the broadest sample of possible prospects to approach, referred to as our Research List
- One of our Researchers will approach the individual prospects on a confidential basis to establish their interest and their suitability. The Research team then compiles a longlist of suitable and interested candidates.
- One of our Directors will personally interview the most promising candidates on the longlist and compile the BIG FIVE Shortlist of candidates, all meeting the clients’ major specifications.
- We will then introduce them to the client and participate in the appointment of the best possible candidate by facilitating the due diligence phase. This involves taking references, arranging personality profiling / psychometric assessments, verification of identity, qualification, criminal and credit records. We are also as much part of the negotiation process and the onboarding process as our client requires us to be.
Our standard is to present our BIG FIVE Shortlist of qualified and interested candidates to our clients within 20 working days from receipt of the commencement fee. From this point, the time to successful completion often depends to a large extent on client / candidate availability and our role is to proactively and vigorously drive the process forward, nurturing and fairly representing the interests of both parties - leading to the appointment of the best possible candidate.
